A cold applied solvent based bituminous adhesive. For bonding chippings to flat or low pitch roofs. Designed for the bonding of a variety of aggregates to built-up felt and mastic asphalt roof surfaces.  It provides a final solar protective weatherproof and damage resistant surface. Cold Gritting Adhesive is suitable for roof with up to 10o slope. Cap rainwater outlets during application.  Apply the Cold Gritting Adhesive in an even coat by brush, squeegee or mop in convenient areas of 20m2 at a time. Apply clean washed single size aggregate immediately into the wet film.  Do not ‘overchip’ but ensure the solution is not exposed. Leave the complete surface dressing for at least 72 hours, and then lightly brush off any excess chipping. Do not leave any black film exposed. The product has a minimum storage life of 12-18 months, in tightly sealed undamaged containers..
